Didactic Program
- Year 1, Foundations of Hematologic and Oncologic Care: The first-year didactic program is dedicated to core lectures providing a broad base of knowledge of hematologic and oncologic diseases and subjects essential to the care of patients with these diseases.
- Year 2, Foundations of Scholarship: The second year signals a shift to scholarly activity, with didactics consisting of formal presentations in investigational methods alongside team-taught journal clubs covering clinically oriented and basic science research.
- Year 3, Modeling Professionalism: In the final year of training, fellows anticipate their shift to independent practice and the role of the lifelong educator and learner. In lieu of formal didactic presentations, third-year fellows will prepare review courses for their junior co-fellows in preparation for their in-training examinations.
