Application Process
Applications will be accepted beginning July 15. Interviews and positions will be offered on a rolling basis after that time. If you are interested in applying, please send the following to Dr. Stern and Ms. Keith.
Our fellowship program application requirements include:
- Your CV
- Your personal statement indicating your interest in geriatric psychiatry
- Minimum of 3 letters of recommendation, including one from your training director and one from an attending psychiatrist who served as a direct clinical supervisor in the past year
- Your official medical school transcript & diploma
- An official copy of your MSPE (medical school performance evaluation/Dean’s letter)
- Your official USMLE/COMLEX score reports (steps 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
- Identification of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence status
- Medical license
- The program director’s verification form attesting to Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship eligibility
Competitive applicants are invited for a mandatory interview. Interviews will be virtual during the recruitment season.

We are now accepting J-1 Visas.
International or Foreign Medical Graduates must either possess U.S. citizenship, have permanent residency, or must be eligible and seek ECFMG sponsorship as a J1 Exchange Visitor. We do not sponsor H1B visas.
