Patient Safety and Quality
Improving patient care by focusing on key quality and safety indicators is integral to achieving Hackensack Meridian’s overall quality and safety objectives. It is an interdisciplinary, multi-party effort, one that encompasses the entire organization – including physicians, nurses, support staff, administration personnel and board members – all working in partnership to improve the quality and safety of patient care.- We support data and information sharing among hospitals, and believe it is a critical approach toward providing all patients the very best care.
- We have highly competent physicians serving on our medical staff who embrace evidence-based medicine, and who are equally dedicated to delivering a consistent high level of care.
- We believe that quality and safe patient care is a journey, not a destination. For us, it’s about supporting a culture of quality and safety improvement that continues to grow, where as soon as we reach one goal, we see another goal on the horizon to work toward.
