Social Work Services
Compassionate, family-centered care
Our clinical social workers are trained, licensed professionals who provide continuity of care from time of diagnosis through the course of the child’s illness. They work with families to address common emotions in children such as fear, anger, anxiety, sadness, helplessness and guilt, and cope with the impact of a diagnosis.Using a patient- and family- centered approach, social workers help navigate the health system and provide crisis intervention. Social workers coordinate services for families between their medical care team and the home setting.
